Internet on Motorola Razr v3

How to set up for internet on Motorola Razr v3?  Does anyone know step by step? thanks

I am testing an old Motorola Razr V3 to use as second emergency phone.  Already topped up with $$.  Since I am only testing, I am happy to use data only for one day to test, with vodafone charging me £2 for 50mb, while I do the set-ups and testing that I can get to a browser.

I launch the browser and I get error msg = Data Server not available.  What does this mean?

I need specifically for Razr v3, similar to this link, except it does not have info for Razr V3

My APN settings are as such.

acct name = vodafone payg (selected as default)

home page = http://www.google.co.uk

service type = wap

proxy = 212.183.137.12

port = 8799

username = wap

password = wap

GPRS APN = pp.vodafone.co.uk

username = wap

password = wap

Was this previously purchased through Vodafone?

Please try the following steps:

• From the menu screen, highlight 'Web Access' and click 'Select'
• Scroll down to 'Web Sessions' and click 'Select'
• Scroll down the list to select the mobile Internet service you want - in this case, Vodafone
• Click on the Menu key (the [-] button under the screen) and select 'Set Default'
• Press 'Back' and then click 'Launch'
• The web browser will automatically open, connecting you to your operator's mobile internet site
• When you select 'Web Access' on the standby screen, then select Browser, you'll automatically connect to the internet

Hello Natasha, thank you for trying to assist.  The info you gave me, I read them days ago when I google around internet to get some answers.  Have you ever had a chance to use a phone that is pre-android, pre-iphone ... etc? Razr v3 was released in 2004 and probably went EOL in 2007 - you actually need to go and insert the settings yourself.  Its a 2g phone on WAP and http.  Hence myself asking for exact setting steps.  Anyway, thank you again.

Vodafone Contract

APN - internet

Username - web

Password - web

Proxy IP - 212.183.137.12

Vodafone Pay as you go

APN - pp.vodafone.co.uk

Username - web

Password - web

Proxy IP - 212.183.137.12

Outgoing server

Network - Vodafone

SMTP server name - smtp.vizzavi.co.uk or send.vodafone.net
