Vodafone Protect has found a threat called JavaTcmdHelper on my Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation phone. It is not possible to remove the app. What should I do?

I contacted Vodafone support on live chat and they have promised to remove it within 24 hours.

I'm really not sure how they'd do that.  There are a few Google entries for this, none of which suggests any kind of threat.  I'd suspect a false positive, but you're right to be careful.
