What is the make and model of your new laptop? Do you know which operating system you're running too (such as Windows XP/Vista, MAC OS10).
A similar issue arose in this
thread so I'd recommend the same advice given by
xiaojun for the running of the software:
1) On the Start menu, click Run.
2) In the "Open" field dialog box, enter the following command and click OK: regsvr32 vbscript.dll
3) A message should appear stating that the "DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll succeeded."
4) Install your VMC again.
