K3565 - error code 619

Just purchased a K3565 .

Running windows XP on a Dell laptop.

No problems loading software and when loaded I plug in dongle and get the blue blinking light showing network found but cannot connect.

I try to connect and all i get is RAS error 619.

I have tried this in two different towns with strong reception 20 miles apart and still the same message.

How do i fix this - I have tried the sim in a mobile and that does not work so does the SIM need to be activated or something ????

Please help as this is driving me mad

To let you know we do work on a first come first serve basis. Due to our popularity at the moment it is taking a little longer than normal to get back to you.

I have seen this before and the way this was fixed for me was:

Settings > change account type > select the prepay option.

If you can let us know how you get on with this that would be appreciated :D

Hi - tried that and no joy - was already sent to prepay - still getting error code RAS 619.

Problem solved - phoned the Vodafone support team and problem resolved in 30 seconds basically.

All down to an incorrect setting in "Manage Connections"

Needed to show "vodafonebundle"

Created new and problem resolved.
