K3760 Modem - Globetrotter Gi41x

Hi

I upgraded to the K3760 modem earlier today. Now I clean wiped the previous Vodafone mobile connect, and wiped everything from the registry relating to it.

I installed the version on the cd that came with the modem. Everything was going ok, until I plugged the modem in. Then I was getting messages that a Globetrotter GI41Z was installing. I cancelled this. Then found out that the modem would not work.

I uninstalled everything again. Then restarted. Then allowed the Globetrotter to install.

A couple of messages popped up that Im a little concerned about. Can anyone here shed some light as to why this screen came up several times;

Also. In with my past modem. It would be the only one in the device manage under the Mobile connect software. However, with this new one, there appears to be two;

Do they both need to be there?

Thanks.

It just means that the relevant driver has not been signed.

Hi Nish

I can't seem to view the pictures you've included in your post so I'll have to go off some slight guess work here, :)

The two instances in the modem panel should really be one (if they're duplicated), they basically mean that the modem may have registered twice or may have been plugged in via a different USB port.

Consequently, delete one of the duplicates (or both if unsure) then re-install the software. You didn't mention whether you got the modem 'connecting' despite the messages popping up so an update would be most appreciated.

Thanks
