Keep getting sms from vodafone with data usage.

Hello, I am in Los Angeles at the moment And I am keep getting sms that I have been using data roaming heavily. I dont know how this can happen my phone is on airplane mode and I have used data for about 2 minutes for a whole trip. What is going on.? My number is (Removed according to House Rules)

Please edit your post and remove your mobile phone number.  Anyone can access this forum and gain access to it and I am sure you don't want to end up getting spammed!

 

You need to make sure that you have turned off both mobile data and data roaming to ensure that you don't accidentally use data while away.  In the meantime, sign into My Vodafone online to see how much data you have actually used and what you are being charged for.  It is possible that the text messages that you have received are simply delayed or duplicates caused by you having flight mode active on the handset when they are sent out.
