Keeping my existing landline phone number.

Hi, am in the process of switching fromm Talktalk to Vodaphone Broadband And Home Phone but will not be activated till the 15 May.

I wish to keep my existing Landline phone number.

Is this something you requested when initially setting up the switch ?

Also Vodafone cannot guarantee they can retain your landline number. 

I'd suggest to phone the broadband team via 08080 034 515 for Home Broadband support (free from all UK landlines and mobiles)

Hi, sorry for the late reply.

Yes, I asked to keep my existing number.

Was hoping staff from vodafone would be on the community forum

to sort people's problems out.

Tried the live chat but was put through to the wrong department Thought I might have better luck

here.

Hi, customer service have told me to wait till I have been activated, and then phone them again and ask for my original Land Line number to be moved over.

Sounds like a long  winded way of doing things to me, but that is what I have been told.
