Has anyone got their Vodafone LG K10 2017  Fingerprint Scanner to work?

 

Settings does have the option to configure fingerprints:

General->Privacy

 

Phone is advertised as having fingerprint scanner.  

Took to Vodafone shop (Basingstoke) and the tech said it had  the hardware but the software didn't support it!

The specs from gsmarena certainly seem to support that it's a feature via > http://m.gsmarena.com/lg_k10_(2017)-8491.php

 

However if the phone was supplied by Vodafone with their firmware on it then it's conceivable what they saying could be correct. 

That said the fps option is an exceptional security feature so I'm at a loss as to why that would be omitted.
