Firstly, I've checked the network status page and while there were issues a few miles away, these should have been resolved nearly a week ago. Last time I posted (here), I was advised to wait until the maintenance a few miles away had been finished before posting again.

1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?

Yes. If I travel around one mile in any direction the issue seems to be resolved.

2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs?

LS19 6BA

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?

I don't have another phone to try, but I have noticed that others using Vodafone at this location are similarly affected.

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?

The signal fluctuates between 4G, 3G, Edge and nothing at all, often quite rapidly. Essentially there's no stable signal so browsing is very frustrating. This is outdoors incidentally - indoor coverage is practically nonexistent. Putting my phone into Airplane mode and back out of it usually restores 3G/4G for at least a short while.

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?

All - see above.

6) When did you first notice this issue?

Early March.

7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?

Permanent - I've not noticed any pattern to the issue.

@jmclusky I've just checked your local serving site (11985) and it's performing correctly.

I've taken a look into your area on our internal systems and can see that you should achieve 2G, however this is patchy and may affect your coverage.

3G/4G are also very limited.

This may explain why your connection fluctuates often.

Have you ever tried to manually change your device down to 2G/3G - if not, please give this a go and let us know how you get on.

Your coverage indoors can depend on a number of factors (such as building type) and can affect the connection you receive.

This can be improved by a Sure Signal device which creates a 3G signal or Wi-Fi Calling - if you're eligible.
