Lenovo yoga tablet sms problem

ive just bought a lenovo yoga tablet with a pay as you go sim with it. i can receive sms messages but it keep saying message failed when i try to reply or send a new message. I have £20 credit on it so thats not the problem. Plz help

Thanks for your post.

With the tablet you’ll have been given a data SIM.

Texts can be sent to these SIM’s from the service provider; however they can’t be used for calls and texts otherwise.

To use text messages, you’ll need a standard phone SIM.
