Hiya,
We've had a sure signal (serial 21223468774) for a couple of years now and its been working fine up until a month or 2 ago when its decided to stop broadcasting a signal. Lights 1 and 2 are lit solidly, but no signal. I've tried reseting several times including holding the reset until all lights go out, then unplug... keep holding, plug back in and hold for 30 seconds.
Nothing has worked
We have another sure signal in another office and that ones fine. I've tried the same port on the switch and its fine on there too. Theres also a couple of others in the same shared office building (they all use the same network) and I've been told they're ok too.
Any ideas? Or is it just broken

Although this might be pointless as other ss's are working on the same network, heres a pathping:

Hi Dfects,
Thanks for your posts here.
From the traceroute everything looks fine and the registration also looks OK.
So we can look at this for you please can you firstly perform a reset and let us know if you are still getting the same issue.
Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
Once all lights display release the reset button.
The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

Hiya, Thanks for the reply. I've actually tried this several times over the last 3-4 weeks to no avail, always the same results. I tried it on the morning i posted the first message, after 5-6 hours it still wasn't working properly.
Anything else I can try? We have pretty much zero reception in our office so its a bit of a problem as we use the phones for work!
Thanks,
Ste

Hiya,
Thanks for the reply but unfortunately its still not happy and stuck just on 2 lights I've tried manually resetting again and that didn't help either. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Ste

Thanks,

My SS (#21223475316) has been playing up for the last few weeks in this way. Waiting, power cycling and the holding button down reset did not help.
After it starts up light is on (and phone show signal) for a few minutes only, then nothing.
mtr 212.183.133.181 seems to end at a vodafone ip address (http://whois.domaintools.com/85.205.116.10)

Thanks for your post here.
I have taken a look at the registration for you and can see that it did connect to the server yesterday however, there has also been a location change detected.
The first thing to do is to update the location profile of the Sure Signal.
To do this simply log into your online account, select manage Sure Signal, select change location, change the postcode to ST1 5GP, Leave for 10 minutes, change the postcode back to your postcode, perform a reset.
Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
Once all lights display release the reset button.
The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.
Give this a go and let us know how you get on.
