Please help

I would love to chat to a Vodafone member of staff but it would appear 24 hour live chat is not 24 hours.

I am working in Abu Dhabi and have lost my phone. I have tried the find my iPhone app using my iPad. It's says my iPhone is offline (I can't remember if it's even registered). Unfortunately I left it on airplane mode when I lost it so can't even call it plus it's locked. I put it in lost mode but even this won't work as it needs a wifi connection unless the taxi I left it in happens to pass my hotel.
Can anyone give me any further suggestions on how to locate my phone or am I #####?

Thanks in advance

Bob

Hi there

The first and most important thing to do is to report the phone lost or stolen as you are liable for all charges on the device until you do so.  You will find full details of how to do this, including phone numbers, in the FAQs here

Thanks Drey for your reply

I had already done that as long winded and expensive as that was calling from abroad. I have to say Vodafone customer services are pretty terrible. The worst part is trying to get hold of them and then they really drag it out. I was really just looking for a way to track my phone but guess I just have to except it's gone. Massively annoying as I now have no phone in Abu Dhabi, have lost some stuff off it that's not backed up and of course have to replace the phone itself. It's a steep learning curve this thing called life
