i have a Vodafone android phone and the keyboard has disappeared. So when trying to text nothing appears. I have been into settings, personal, language and input Google keyboard has a tick, clicked on default to again set up Google keyboard, but still nothing appears. Can anyone help me?

Try a Soft Reset by turning the phone Off , remove the battery if applicable and turn the phone Back On.

Hi there
Have you installed any third party keyboard apps - they could be interferring with the stock app. Have you installed any apps recently? It may be worth uninstalling them and seeing if the keyboard comes back.
If not, a hard reset of the device should get everything back up and running again.. Obviously make sure you have backed up your personal data before doing this as it will completely wipe your device.

Perfect thank you so much, all as normal now, was at stage of throwing phone through window. Not sure why I didn't think of this!

Goid to hear it's back working as it should.
I turn my phone Off and On at least once a month which helps to rest and reset it imo.
