My message Plus app has recently started closing its window by itself.
This happens a few seconds after I have opened a message Plus app.
If I press on the recent programs button the message app is showing running in the background so it has not close completely.
Under advice from a Vodafone agent I remove the SIM and left the phone off for a few minutes before restarting it this did not make any difference.
The Android phone that I have is the Vodafone first 7 I have not had any problems with the phone's message app until the last couple of days, I've had the phone for 2 months.
I am not experiencing any issues with any other apps it is only that message Plus app.
Please note that I am still able to receive messages and I can preview them in the notifications window it is just when I attempt to open the message Plus app that the issues start.

@Madin - Thanks for testing the steps Natasha gave.
Please go to the Google Play store and check if there are any available updates for your phone.
If there aren’t any updates showing, the next step is to clear the data from the app:
If it’s still closing, please delete and reinstall the app.

Have you cleared the cache from the app? To do this, please complete the following steps on your device:
- Select 'Settings'.
- Go into 'Apps'.
- Select Message+ from the apps.
- Go into 'Storage'.
- Select 'Clear cache'.
- Restart your device.
