Mobile Broadband - Panasonic tough connect problems with connection dropping.

Not applicable
I am running a panasonic toughbook CF-19 with tough connect and vodafone sim.
I get a 100% HSDPA signal all the time but it suddenly loses connection and does not reconnect by itself.
I have to then shutdown the tough connect and restart it and the connection comes back at 100% HSDPA.
This is very annoying as i need a continuous connection to run a GPS positioning monitoring system.
Does anyone know why this is happening and what i could try to get the connection be more stable.
This seems to happen more often during the day (i only get a few hours of continuous connection) than at night when i have had upto 12 hours maximum overnight.
I am in central london so would expect a good connection.
Any help much appreciated as i dont know what to try.

Hello N100 and welcome to the eForum

I can appreciate the problem here, however I'm unfamiliar with the native connection manager, Tough Connect.

may I propose we try the Vodafone connection manager Vodafone mobile Connect 9.4.6 (I've linked to the download page). Once installed please attempt a connection and let us know how you get on.#

Consequently can i ask whether you're running Windows Vista, XP or 7? (or any other OS)?

Thanks
