To cover the gap between broadband installation, I purchased a mobile wifi device (with 2GB of data included).
I've been using it for 1 day and I can no longer browse the web. I just get directed to the Vodafone top up page.
Can this be right? I couldn't possibly of gone through 2GB of data in 24 hours!

What was going on during the broadband installation on the laptop? Were any installation programs, files or system updates downloaded from your provider in the background? Set up wizards and so on can take up data in the 100MBs from past experience.

No installation required. Using a mobile wifi device.

Something running in the background on the device you’re using with your Mobile Wi-Fi, may have used up the data.
It may have been antivirus software, apps or any software updates that are on the device you’re using it with.
