New landline - no voicemail - no vodaphone response

After a week of my new Vodaphone landline ( & broadband) my voicemail standard still does not work. I have placed 3 calls (the latest at 8 am today I gave up after being transferred  to a third extension) and 2 online chats ,with no resolution. Really frustrating from an otherwise good service. Anyone with same experience? Alternatively, moderator can you escalate please!

I am having the exact same problem as you and I keep getting told 48 hours

 

I requested Caller display and Voicemail and the advisor I spoke to said I can have all the calling  features and a discount on Anytime calls.

 

Thats all very well, but when am I going to have these features?

 

Vodafone/C&W LLU broadband doesn’t seem to have LLU phone service like TalkTalk and Sky as I believe BT are the ones taking there time to activate these features

 

If you didn’t know already, Vodafone home phone basically is  CPS phone service that runs over a BT line. It is the exact same service as Mercury/C&W although you no longer need to dial 132 before every number your are calling . However 132 does seem to work.

 

Back to the subject, I am losing my patience with this issue now and what it sorted fast

 

Vodafone should definitely unbundle it’s phone service like TalkTalk and Sky as it will provide a better service to customers or alternatively introduce a VoIP service.

Hi

i eventually got through to someone called Mark, who fixed the problem within an hour!

 

He saw immediately that the repeated requests (including one to upgrade to Voicemail Plus in desperation to get a service) were being set up, but. not going through to OpenReach.

 

Internal Comms issue perhaps,  as until then it had been a week of exchanges with various voice and online chat, not to mention the times I gave up waiting! Pleased to see business is booming!

 

All working now, thanks, including the Voicemail Plus which appeared the day after standard service had been restored.

 After a month (07/09/17) of my new Vodafone landline ( & fibre 38) being installed, my voicemail standard still does not work. I have placed 3 phonecalls and 4 online chats "always just a few more days (they promise) and it will work". 

 Well, still waiting (06/10/17).

 I'm documenting everything, online chat scripts, screenshots, phone calls and taking all staff names before esculating my complaints to the Ombudsman and small claims court (if needed).

 Please join me in taking action!

 

 

 

Hi, as of yesterday I waited over an hour to be answered, I spoke to a really good advisor.

 

He carried out a line test as I’m also having crackling on the line.

 

The advisor also said that there must be a technical issue on Vodafones side. He then told me he will access the BT system and add the calling features and Voicemail from that and within minutes it worked

Vodafone have now started charging me £2.50 for Call Management feature (which I don't want).

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I would like is for Voicemail Standard to work, please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Voicemail ACTIVE, job done!

Similar problem here. Have tried multiple times over several days to request the standard voicemail via the website in My Vodafone - no response.
