Nexus 6 delivery date

I ordered the Nexus 6 and Moto360 on Nov18th with expected delivery of 5th December. I like many others have yet to receive consignment or delivery information and have never been able to track my order using WEB ref.

I know that there has been delays from the manufacturer which was supposed to distribute on the 1st of Dec. There is a lot of speculation circulating that handsets could be delayed until as late as mid Dec. However this afternoon o2 have just started selling the Nexus 6 not as a pre-order, but as in-stock with next day delivery (5th Dec).

I am wondering if Vodafone has received any handsets from the manufacturer, or if there is a new estimated delivery for customers who have pre-ordered weeks ago?

I've not had 5.0.1 yet on the N6. I'm running it on the Nexus 9 and HTC One M8 though (not OTA on the M8 mind, converted it to the Google Play Edition and flashed manually). Can't say there's any major changes. Battery seems slightly improved (but was good already). Still got the multitasking bug.

Overall impressions so far are that 5.0 is bl00dy fantastic.

I got the 5.01 update for the watch.

@stevie_boy how's the battery life, seems to be mixed opinions on that.

It looks more straight forward after the update.

To be honest I haven't worn it enough to judge, it mainly sits on the charger being used as a night clock!

@stevie_boy, didn't realise you needed to revert to stock now to get the OTA 😞

Any idea whether or not I can sideload?

Mines still in the box, just keep getting it out, wondering if I can be bothered taking it off to charge every night, but I do like the idea of it.

I'm an upgrade, but they should be going out in date order, there's no old over new priority (or vice versa).

Oh, for the Moto, I keep mine disconnected most of the day (phone's off during work anyway) and it seems to last a good 4 days without even dropping under 40%. Might burn faster with more connection time, will see over the weekend.

I wear mine all day. Charge lasts without any problem. I'm surprised at how useful I have found getting messages and emails etc to my watch. It means my phone doesn't need to come out of my pocket quite as often. It goes on charge when I go to bed and doubles as a night clock. So its in use 24hrs a day!

I keep thinking, the strap ain't gonna last long!
