Nexus One - How to turn of predictive text?

anyone got anyidea how i turn of the pred*** text...its doing my head in

Settings => Language & keyboard => Android Keyboard

Un-tick the stuff you don't want.

Welcome to the eForum.

Have you tried selecting the settings icon next to the keyboard? From there you can alter the predictive text.
