Not received my PAC after requesting it, now have to wait 30days?

I have a new PAYG sim but unfortunately I'm having to leave vodafone as we live in the countryside and the reception is not good, i requested a PAC to transfer my number out again but have been told have to wait 30 days to be issued!

not very helpful ...

Doesn't bide well to have to wait a month to get a code, strikes me as Vodafone being difficult..

Hi

 

Unless Vodafone are having systems issues they are required to provide a PAC over the phone to you or by text within a couple of hours.

If this was me I'd speak with customer service via 191 or Live Chat again.

Hi @sitback

 

Before a PAC code can be issued, the SIM has to be active on the network. This means you will have needed to have topped up and made a few chargeable activities.

 

If you have the SIM active, please try again. There is no reason to have to wait 30 days.

Could you have got through to the wrong section, and they thought you were looking for a NUC? 30 days for a PAC simply isn't a permissable situation!
