Hi All
For the past few weeks since updating to 5.1.1 my phone has been freezing every other minute and restarting. It is close to the point where it is unusable. You will be playing away on the phone and it will freeze for around 20 seconds and then display the 'Samsung Galaxy Note 4' starting screen, sometimes it does it 2 or 3 times like it's caught in a loop.
Now I say it was the 5.1.1 update however snapchat had an update around the same time and that has also become extremely laggy and always crashes the phone.
One other point I'll make... Recently when I matched someone on tinder(don't laugh) I messaged them and got an auto not message saying that her tinder had been infected with a virus and provided a web link to who knows. I didn't click on it but could my phone potentially have a virus and this is what is causing it to crash.
So to sum up... My main question is, Is this affecting others since the update and if so have they found a fix. If not can anyone point me in the right direction to try and resolve things.
Thanks
Ross

After a firmware update and if the phone is glitching its recommended to perform a back up and perform a factory reset via the phones settings.
This gets rid of old redundant files.

Hey mate thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention I did a master reset to factory settings and if I'm being honest it did feel a bit better but not 100% I am starting to think it might be one of the apps mentioned that has done something. I have deleted them both to test things out and it's still lagging like hell though.

No problem.
After deleting the apps have you soft reboot by turning it off and on.
How much memory is available in the handset ?

We'd need to go through some troubleshooting steps with you to establish what it could be.
