Note 7 Swap Queries - Voda Forums Reps Plz

Anonymous
Not applicable

Afternoon Voda Reps

QQ Regarding Note 7 Queries etc.

1. Swapouts - Naturally Voda are doing these. The official statement says To call after 19th Sept If you want to exchange for Note 7 device. Will it be a straight Swap For Swap with DPD (IE Their "Swapit" Facility) ??

Can these be done in store? The guys in Crawley said it could be done like for like. I'd just rather not be without my device for more than a couple of days if Im still paying for it.

2. What happens on Siebel in relation to tariffs and billing? Will these be exempt due to the issues? IE Old Tariff still rolling on? Etc

I'm thinking the same thing.

I've just contacted the media about my truly poor treatment from Vodafone.

Emma Glanfield from the daily mail ran and article about the poor service and advise that vodafone staff members had been providing.

I've just sent an email to her.

email address is on the link

I recommend you all do the same Vodafone need coverage on this catastrophic treatment of its customers.

Emailed her... It is sad when the press is your only hope.

interesting development reported on the BBC, something that many on here have ben urging Vodafone/Samsung to do, compensation for taking an older S7 Edge and also on the subject of accessories.

so should people keep their device until these schemes are defined....?

I really wouldn't consider an edge. The pulling factor for me on the note 7 was the s pen and HDR screen the edge is a totally inferior replacement in my eyes!

Me either. Nothing I fancy. On Tuesday when I rang to discuss cancelling & reverting to a sim only contract until I'm ready for a phone first I was told I may still get the Note7. Er, no I won't.

Then I was informed the order was cancelled but, I could only choose sim only online, they couldn't do it over the phone.

Then on Wednesday morning, yet another text & email apologising for the delay on my order & Vodafone hope to be able to fulfil it soon!

It is like they're literally pushing customers away on purpose. They have no interest in retaining customers unless it's at a distinct profit to them regardless of the inconveninece to us.

I'll say it again, the handset problem is not Vodafone's. The way they've handled this calamity, is.
