 Hello!

As requested by the Vodafone twitter, here is my list of issues with the network connection.

1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?

It happens all over the county - there is no special area that does/does not work.

2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs?

OX28 3XU, though occurs constantly, including over 20 miles away

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?

 Yes

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?

Network is 'searching', or 'no service'. Wifi still works.

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?

All

6) When did you first notice this issue?

 8pm, 31st of August

7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?

Intermittent, though network only works for about a minute. There is no obvious pattern to the times of day.

Thanks!

Rachel

@Flameflight153 This can sometimes happen if you've been abroad recently. If this is the case, please try the following:

  • Switch off the device
  • Remove the SIM card once the device is fully off
  • Switch on the device
  • Once the device has fully switched back on, insert the SIM card back in.

If this isn't the case, as you've stated this issue is not location specific and that it still occurs when you try your SIM in a different device, this would look to be an issue with your SIM card.

If you visit your local Vodafone store, they'll be able to assist you with swapping your SIM card out for a new one and be able to test this with you to see if it's resolved your issue.
