Problem ordering online

So I ordered a phone nearly a week ago online as a gift for my daughter and I still haven't gotten my order?! 

I received one e-mail saying my order had been accepted and was given a tracking number but when I track my order it is still on the first option of pending.

I've spoken to the customer service people more times that I dare think about and they're either saying the same things or contradicting each other. I was told my order had been fully accepted and that I would receive a consignment number then was told there had been a fault with Apple but they had my new phone and would send it out THAT DAY and I would receive it today (17/03/2015) yet I've had no e-mails or texts confirming this so I sent the chat to my e-mail incase I need to take this higher, then an advisor told me my order was still pending and there was nothing she could do?! It seems I'm passed from pillar to post and I'm running in circles chasing an order I placed a week ago because 1. Nobody seems to have a clue about my order 2. They seem to just say what they think I want to hear?!

Has anybody else had this issue and how was it resolved? I'm close to just cancelling my order and contatcing HR about how my situation has been dealt with as it's an absolute joke.
