Problems re-installing ZTE K3570 Dongle

Hello,

I've got what seems to be an unusual problem with a K3570 dongle and cannot see any advice in how to overcome it.

First of all the K3570 works fine. I have been using it on a laptop and it still works fine there.

Previously I had another Vodafone dongle, one from another supplier, then this one. They all seemed to work the same way - plug them in, they autoplayed, the client software installed, did the set up and away you go.

I am now changing to another laptop, and when I came to set up the K3570, it didn't autoplay. The laptop saw the device, installed the drivers, etc., but you cannot see the device at all, not even as storage under Admin Tools / Computer Management.

I've tried restarting several times. The new laptop was pretty much out of the box. Both laptops are Windows 7.

Is there somewhere I can download the software that would normally come on the dongle?

Thanks for any help!

www.business.vodafone.com the latest version is 10.2.302.

Yes I am aware of VMB thanks but to be honest it is complete bloatware.

A 100+ MB download, probably 150MB installed, to basically switch the device on and off, and monitor usage is a joke.

I've installed ZTE's own Join Air utility that the original Vodafone client was based on. Its smaller, easier to use, and is Operator-agnostic so I can also use it with my Spanish Yoigo SIM and Three UK SIM.

As a final insult the VMB software failed to recognise a different but  valid Vodafone Device and SIM, whereas Join Air just installed and worked.
