Repairs - GSX Upload Required

Hi, 

I put my iPhone 7 + in for repairs last week and was tracking the repair online, the status has changed to GSX Upload Required - Vodafone 2 year warrenty.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what this meant?

Vodafone apply a 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty on iPhones which is over and above the 12 months Apple apply. If the iPhone is over 12 months Apple Manufacturing Warranty then this could be referring to that. 

From a Google Search the GSX part could be referring to Obtain useful information about your Apple iPhone status including the current network status, policy ID and much more.

Apple's Global Service Exchange (GSX) It's a system used by service providers to process repairs, order parts.
