S4 Mini hands-free mode problem

For the last few weeks, my hands-free mode has been turning itself on.

Initially it turns itself on as soon as I am connected to wifi. When I then turn it off it will keep turning itself on, often without me being anywhere near the phone.

I have been into location services to check that it isn't recognising me being in my car by connecting to wifi, and I can't think of any other reason that it would be doing this.

In the first instance, try a factory reset, especially if you've done an operating system update recently.  Don't forget to back up your content first and make sure you contacts and calendar are fully syncd.
