Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini wifi greyed out - unable to use

The wifi button on my Samsung Galaxy is greyed out, meaning I can't turn it on. I've been into the Vodafone shop, done the live chat and rung Customer Services (but couldn't get to speak to a human being), without any success. Is anyone in here please able to tell me how to solve this?

hiya, 

The first thing to do is back everything up using KIES or other backup software

Go into settings > Backup and restore and restore to factory settings. 

If this does not help the antenna cable inside may have been knocked out of it's plug, it'll need a Vodafone or Samsung repair centre.
