Hello
Vodafone mobile is the most complained about service in the past three months
And you wonder why?
1. Vodafone ran out of stock of the moble phone that I had ordered. It arrived on the 23rd April (Wasn't too fussed about the delay)
2. Couldn't activate my SIM on the day it arrived as the order was still being processed (Fair enough, I'll try again tomorrow)
3. After numorous attempts of talking to people on the live chat and over the phone they said my SIM would be activated withtin 3-5 working days.
4. Guess what, Didn't happen
5. Spent every day last week on the live chat asking for them to give me a time frame for the issue to be fixed, Each day I got told to wait 24-48 hours)
6. The SIM is still not
(Removed according to House Rules)
activated
7. Should of stayed with the bad coverage with THREE
8. Dire customer service
9. 20 days now...
10. Useless

Given the length of time, you could be in the same situation as me. If you are, and your account has not been set-up correctly then I'm not sure they'll be able to activate the SIM until the account has been corrected. I gave up after two weeks, and opted to return the phone.

I have the same problem for 3 weeks now, lost patience with so called system problems.
Ive spent an hour on the phone today to the billing dept who cant even find my account, I have given all the details of my phone Sim / IMEI / mobile number / account number bank details address and they cant even find these.
Buying a new phone used to be so simple...

Hi JohnShep
Did you buy your phone directly from Vodafone or from a 3rd party such as Car Phone Warehouse?
I saw a case recently, similar to yours where CPW hadn't set up the customers account properly. They (CPW) had to cancel his account and "re-sale" him the Phone.
