Samsung S5 Screen Flickering

The screen flickers on Auto Brightness, after about 8 hours. Also the screen doesn't come on when pluged in to a USB cable. And the on/off switch isn't working properly. Anyone have any ideas on the problem.

@medievalpirate - I'd recommend a repair but before that you could try a factory reset.

Make sure you back everything up first.

.....Okay, back up & full factory reset done, everything reloaded now, lets see if that works......

I suspect the phone will be going for repair though...?

It sounds like a dodgy USB port causing a short somewhere...?

......More likely to be the on/off switch, it's behaving at the moment, we'll give it a couple of days, if it starts playing up again, it'll be off for repair.....

.....Well the reset didn't fix the problem, so it's now in for repair......
