As it happens, I was reading the RM leaflet on prohibited items the other day and thought that might happen. I've always said this was going to be a logicistical nightmare.
Technically, you can send a used lithium battery as long as it's fitted in a device, but I can see how a fireproof box would set off alarm bells (and that's before one's caught fire!)
