Shake opens whatsapp...

Hi Everyone.

I could do with some help regarding a feature on an S5. A friend has recently got one and everytime she shakes the phone it launches WhatsApp. At first it was launching Facebook, but now it is WhatsApp. So it seems to be launching a most used app. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

I have had a look through the settings, but couldn't seem to find anything relating to it. She does have a 3rd party S-View cover. If the cover is closed and you shake the phone, when you open the cover it launches WhatsApp. Even the vibrate of the phone would set if off before the vibrate was turned down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't no there was a shake feature on the S5

But there is a app called shake but it was removed from Google play for some reason

But this will be running in the back ground on xda Developers they reported a 10% battery drain

This would seem to be a fault with the phone itself.

We’d recommend your friend checking the warranty and also contacting who she bought the phone through.
