I have the note 4 and now since the new update at least once a week I would lose my reception and the only way to get it back is by restarting the phone. Anyone else with this issue?

Hi

It maybe a coincidence that your having issues since updating.

Does this happen at home or everywhere. If st home then please check your masts via Vodafone Mast Network Checker

Can you try your SIM card in another phone as a process of elimination. If the issue persists then it's an avenue to have your SIM card swapped at a Vodafone Store.

If if it isn't the SIM card then one generic troubleshooting tip after a firmware update is to perform a Hard Reset / Factory Reset which clears out old files from the update which could be causing issues.

If this process does not help then I'd suggest performing a Google Search to see if anyone else is experiencing these issues.

Samsung can also be contacted via http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/

And the option of Samsung Repair Centres http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/servicelocation/

It can happen anywhere. As it happened at random times i can't really try another phone as that would mean I would have to keep using that other phone for a long period of time. I done this update from a factor reset.

Do you mean that you did a factory reset after the update?   That would be the next thing to try if you didn't.   It would be part of any repair process, so you won't have lost anything (as long as you back up your content!) by giving it a try.
