I have just upgraded my ultra 6 to software version VDF-995NB01-UK07b and now it keeps dropping the NFC connectio to my fitness tracker and whilst playing certain games keeps making it pause and interupts the game play. Can anyone help as it is really annoying.

Hi @dsc2302
It is recommened to do a back up and reset of the phone after doing a major software update as you have done. This clears out any glitches and bugs remaining on the previous software and very often improves battery life.
There is information on how this can be done on the link below. There is also further information available from the internet.
If you still have problems after doing the reset, take the phone into a Vodafone store for help and advise.

Thanks AnnS, but does this clear all my apps and personal settings from the the phone? If so and if this is the only option that is a pretty poor show. I am possibly being a bit precious but don't want to have to spend the time reconfiguring my phone each time there is an upgrade, is there any way I can save my configuration and reinstall once I have reset. I have done the basic back up to my gmail account.

Are there any other options as the factory reset has had no effect at all, in fact it may now be slightly worse!

Hello @dsc2302
If hard-resetting your device didn't help the problem please take your phone into your nearest Vodafone highstreet store so we can look into this for you.

Hi @Louise_E
I did pop into a store when I was in town this weekend and they advised going on the forum as they would have to send my phone away to be assessed because they can "do nothing" in store!
It is a 25 mile round trip to get to my nearest store! Can you guarentee they will be ble to look at it and fix it?

Hello @dsc2302
I'm afraid I cannot guarantee the in-store will be able to fix it immediately. If the problem cannot be diagnosed in-store our team will help you further from there.

As expected the shop were even less use that the forum, told I could send it away, but when I pointed out the I had not bought the phone through Vodafone they lost interest completely, was told that if I sent this Vodafone product that had stopped working properly due to a vodafone upgrade back to vodafone, they would wash their hands of it as it wasn't purchased directly through them! Terrible service.
As for the forum, waste of time!
