Hello,


I made changes to my build.prop file and my phone stopped working when I rebooted. It loads to the Vodafone screen and hangs with a spinning circle on the screen.

I can access the recovery menu although ADB doesn't work when selected.

Is there a stock Vodafone ROM that I can apply through recovery?

If you can access the recovery menu, have you tried to factory reset?

 

Did you enable USB Debugging before you changed the build.prop?

Unless you saved the whole build.prop text file, ADB wouldn't really help you, unless you know the exact line number that you altered?

 

I don't believe there are any stock Vodafone Roms available, you could have a look on xda-developers.com?

 

Out of curiosity, what were you trying to do?

 

I think you might have to send it away to be reflashed by the repair centre? Hopefully the changes you made wont have triggered any system modification warnings?
