Good evening,
Turn the phone Off and On to Reset it.
i woukd suggest carrying out a factory reset/ hard reset of the phone which is suggested after a firmware update. Make a back up beforehand as this process does delete data saved in the phones memory.

How to Hard Reset Sony Xperia Z3
Method 1
On your phone tap on menu.
Then select settings.
Go towards Backup and Restore option.
From there pick Factory data reset.
Select Erase Phone followed by Erase Everything.
Agree with the alert and wait while the factory reset operation is being completed.
Method 2
The second solution is implying in accessing recovery mode on your Sony Xperia Z3.
Thus, turn off your handset completely: press power button and select “power off” or press and hold the power key for a few seconds.
Then, enter recovery mode on your Android device.
Once in recovery use volume up / down buttons in order to scroll up or down and power key to select.
Pick “wipe data factory reset” and perform the same.
Optional: after completing the hard reset operation, from recovery mode you can also choose to clear cache by selecting “wipe cache partition” and “wipe dalvick cache”- this is a best way to solve software related problems.
When you are done, go back to main menu of recovery and from there select “reboot system now”.
One other option is to approach Sony under their 24 month manufacturers warranty.
