Sure Signal Phone light not coming on

Hi. Our SKY router managed to reset itself a few days ago and ever since then the Sure Signal won't pick up any phones. I've hard reset it, left it for 24 hours, hard reset again and still nothing. In fact all the lights are on (its an original VSS) apart from the third one down. I have also tried deregistering the device and registering as well as de and reregistering all the devices linked to it.

 

Please can someone advise - this is the trace I pulled off it this evening

Hi clivos79,

 

I’ve just resynced it for you. To make sure the resync completes, can you perform a factory reset:-

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show/flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

Turns out that my phone number got de-registered?! (The suresignal is registered to my husband's account not mine) He's just registered it again and all is working as it should.

I am experiencing the same issue with the Version 2 model, the phone light is not coming on.

 

The same issue was experienced by a home worker on his Broadband and our Broadband (diff location).

 

I have re-registered it having set it up my end with a new voda 3g mobile (as a user). 3g is activated and says so on the iPhone 4 itself, but when making a call still no phone light on the SS. All other lights are ON.

 

Any help much appreciated.

Is this not some bigger issue with SS ?  I have only the power light on today too ?

Can you clarify something for me?

 

Is it just that the light doesn't come on but you can make calls or are you unable to make calls too?

Can I take your VSS serial number please?

I can make calls, not sure if it using the Sure start box though and the phone light on the SS box does not come up neither.
