Hello all
Bought a SureSignal V3 about 4 o5 5 weeks ago and I have had trouble with it ever since. It registered fine, I added my phone numbers to it.....and it worked for a couple of days.
Next thing you know I'm half way through callls and all of a sudden the signal dropped out. I go to the suresignal and restart it.
Again, for a couple of days maybe it will work, then it just craps out again.
Tried going through the whole reset process, and it did work for a few days.......but then it started having problems again.
Looking at it now I have one light on it. The light to the left looking at the device. Its solid red. no other lights. Light on my router shows that its cabled correctly.
I am just about finished with this now, it's driving me insane. have I just got a faulty one? Is there anyone i can call that can help me out with this or have I just wasted the best part of £100 on technology that just isn't up to scratch?

cheers folks, just adds to my feeling that it is a piece of junk. would sell it onto someone else on ebay, but i'm not a cowboy!
come on vodafone, any word of some help please?

Hi gking,
Can you let me know which IP address (that the traceroute stops on) you're referring to?
I've done a resync as the last time your Sure Signal connected to our servers was on the 11th November. Please do a reset to complete the process;
-Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
-Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
-Once the lights come back on, release the button.

By doing this and getting it re-synced by these guys on the forum I managed to make it work. I think the truth is somewhere between the fact that this device looks good but is in fact a poor performer and the lack of info - Vodafone makes it look as a plug and go but in fact this isn't the case.

I bought my Vodafone SureSignal V3 a couple of months ago and it was working fine until a few weeks ago when I noticed that the red light was on but the other 3 lights were off. After performing a ful reset by holding down the reset button for 30 secs it started working again for about half an hour until the internet light turned orange and the Service and Users lights turned off. I performed a 5 sec reset but now the only lights that come on are the power light, the internet light and the Service light

Hi freshie,
All the information you've provided is fine so nothing obvious is standing out as a problem.
I've done a resync for you, please do another reset for me to complete the process.
If it's still not working can you let me know the light sequence and if the lights are solid or flashing?

I tried a reset as you suggested but it is still not working
The power light, internet light and services lights are all on and are solid, however, the 4th light (users) is off

I concur, these sure signal 3 boxes are a waste of time and money, I need signal at home for my job as I support a computer system that needs to be online 24/7 which generally is unlike these rubbish sure signals!!
