After 5 days of trying to activate Sure Signal ...still no joy.
Contacted Vodafone "tech" and requested the Sure Signal be de-registered so I could attempt to register against a different Vodafone account we hold.Thinking this could be the answer.
We have little or no Vodafone signal in our house.
We have replaced the Bt hub with a netgear router hoping this would help.
Despite being assured by vodafone "TECH"!! that the Sure Signal would be registered and activated.....I'm still waiting!
I' ve spent £69 trying to boost a signal I already pay for monthly!! And have now lost all faith in Vodafone.
The Sure Signal will be returned to Vodafone at the weekend, for which I expect a full refund.
The fact that we have no vodafone signal seems to be of no consequence to Vodafone!
Is there anybody that can help with this!! !
The box is showing the red light with the 1st white light flashing. We don't seem to be able to move on from this

Hi @dbsb
I can understand the frustration with this and it does sound like you have worked your way through the Troubleshooting tips here and in Here
Sometimes issues can exist if the Sure Signal is a second hand one or has not been used for a while but from your post it sounds like you've bought a brand new device.
If the Vodafone Tech Team here are unable to help via remotely then I'd certainly support your decision to return it and perhaps ask for another new one.
Depending on Tariff Type and phone model perhaps check if Calling Over Wi-Fi is open to you.
I hope all goes ok.

Thank you Lee......at least someone apprciates my frustrations.
The Sure Signal seems to have dominated my life for the last few days, but will be returned to Vodafone. It was a new product purchased direct from my local Vodafone shop.
I feel I may have to look for alternative provider!

Hey @dbsb
You're welcome.
Things can sometimes go wrong which I'm sure many accept, but then it's ultimately down to how it's put right that then counts ,and instills confidence back into the product and service.
Communication is Key.
I hope Vodafone can sort this out for you either by sorting out your current device or by swapping it out.
In the end it does make sense to use the Network that provides the best signal where you work, commute and reside.
Taking into account whether a person is locked into a contract or not.
