Sure Signal V2 Both Lights Flashing Talktalk HG635

I have been trying to get my Sure Signal V2 to work with my Talktalk fibre broadband.  My router is A Huwaei HG635.

I have followed around as many guides and port forwarding explanations as I can and I am posting here as a last resort as solutions seem to be found eventually.  Currently my sure signal is flashing both lights constantly.  I have left it for 24hrs before and nothing changed and I have followed the reset procedure on more then one occastion..  I have set up a V3 for my parents before and it was so simple that I suspect it is perhaps my router that is causing the issue.  Advice would be greatly appreciated to get to the bottom of this.

@hamblingpc – Since your Sure Signal has been registered on 4 January, it’s not made any contact with the network.

Please try a different Ethernet cable and a test it at a different location.

If the device hasn't been used for 12 months prior to you having it, it may have lost its licence now (please see section 3, paragraph 6 in our Ts&Cs.

I have been advised by the eBay seller that this has not been used for over 12 months.  Are you telling me there is no way to start using this sure signal now?  I have tried it at my parents' house where they are successfully using a v3 and it did not work at all.  Have also tried new cable.  Please advise.

@hamblingpc

If the Sure Signal hasn’t been used for 12+ months, it will be deactivated.

There is no way to get this reactivated. You’ll need to buy a new Sure Signal.

I’d suggest contacting the seller.
