Hi,

Please take a look through these Sure Signal Trouble Shooting threads :

https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Vodafone-Sure-Signal-troubleshooting/td-p/23917...

as these may help to resolve issues. They have links to the key things you can do to try and self resolve the issue you are experiencing.

It may also be worth trying a different power supply with the SureSignal (Version 1 & 2 ), as there have been some reports of replacement power supplies solving the issues. They are available on eBay for around £10.

Hi I have tried all of the troubleshooting tips

How would I know if I need a new power supply?

Is there not a remote diagnostic you could run

Hi Nigel,

''How would I know if I need a new power supply?''

Very difficult without the necessary test equipment.

Have a look at the first post on this thread and see if your symptoms are similar ........

https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/SureSignal-1-flashing-but-not-working-possible-...

If they are then a replacement power supply is the answer.

Just as a temporary measure and confirmation of the problem,

Have a look around for a similar power supply that you could try with. The requirements are 12 volts @ at least 1.5 Amp capacity with a 2.5 mm female connector. such units are used on external hard drives, P.C. monitors, printers etc.etc.

Replacement power suppies are available on Amazon or Ebay for around £10 -12 inc.delivery. Just Google 'Sure Signal power supplies'

Regards,

Mike.
