Solution

SureSignal 3 was working with BT Infinity Hub3 but just stopped

After having my SS3 replaced in July it all worked fine with my BT Infinity Hub3 bar the occasional need to reconnect, then on 16 December it stopped working just 13 days outside 12 months warrantee.

 

After long conversations with Vodafone techs it still is not working.  They suggested taking it to the local Vodafone shop to see if it would work on their system.  The shop does not even have a router, waste of time.

 

Originally i did not have portforwarding settings in router, adding them made no difference.

 

I have reset the router to factory defaults and reinstated my orignial setting less the protforwarding for the SS.

 

I have reset the SS several times, powered it off etc.

 

I have the red light on solid and the first light white but pulsating slowly, all other lights off.

 

using Speedtest.net:-

I have download speed in excess of 37MB, upload at least 7MB.

Ping 0ms

IP 86.155.106.242 on BT this is not static.

Hi @mrbarnett

 

Please make sure that your IPSEC setting has been selected on your router

 

If you’re unsure on how to do this, please contact your internet service provider.

 

He light sequence your mentioning means that the Vodafone Sure Signal is being configured, can you let us know the serial number of the device.
