Hi there
I have the SS v2 (i think - it's the white one with a mains 240v throughput)
It worked great for a year or so. But, recently any phone needs to be either rebooted, switched onto airplane mode and back or manually search for a signal inorder for it to connect to the SureSignal. I have both Android and iPhone in the house. Same problem with both.
Once I do connect, I get a full 3G signal from the SS. The ambient signal varies from Zero to One bar - so when I'm not connected onto the SS, I really cant use my phone.
I've just switched the most expensive one of my 4 phones on my VF contract to EE. But, I'd rather stick with VF if I can use the phones.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Chris

Hi,
Please take a look through these Sure Signal Trouble Shooting threads :
https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Vodafone-Sure-Signal-troubleshooting/td-p/23917...
as these may help to resolve issues. They have links to the key things you can do to try and self resolve the issue you are experiencing.
There is an 'Issue Not Listed' option which guides you through how to run a TraceRoute to paste back in your thread for Vodafone Tech to look over.
It may also be worth trying a different power supply with the SureSignal (Version 1 & 2 ), as there have been some reports of replacement power supplies solving the issues. Even if lights / power are showing. They are available on eBay for around £10.
From member cineriv "But firstly, have a look around for a suitable unit with a 12 Volt output @ around 1.5Amp capacity that you could 'borrow' to prove the fault. Suitable units can be found on external hard drives, monitors, printers, routers etc.etc."
