Hello.
The User Manual here Talks about the light.
"Pulse notification light: Flash the LED light to notify you of missed calls, new messages, and other events."
A post from another forum discussing the problem http://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/375511-fixed-pulse-notifications/ and from the Vodafone ie forum https://www.boards.ie/ttfthread/2057460976 which seems to point to a Factory Reset that works for some. Be sure to back up any data saved in the phones memory as this procedure will typically wipe the phone.
You could pop into a Vodafone store and ask the reps in the their as they may know a workaround themselves.
