User Guide fro Smart First6

when is the user guide for Vodafone Smart First6 going to be updated to current models and services? All links lead to an out of date version ( VF_VF695_GB_UM_Eng_GB_09_150326.pdf ) although helpful it is missing many features and screen shots.

Hi @sallyjustice

I Think one possible problem is that new firmwares are released and updated that introduce new features so continually updating the online manual isn't always viable.

I think the online manuals help to give a person a handle on the basics and then if people need further advice / information then Google and forums like this one help people.

No offence, but calling the forum useless in one breath and then expecting help from it is kinda contradictory don't you think?

Either way, if you perhaps provide a bit more information about what you are doing we can advise you accordingly.  Unfortunately having the phrase "auto/off" out of context doesn't give us enough info to advise you.

My sincere apologies I meant VODAFOONE CHATLINE, this Forum is very useful, I have had such a frustrating time with this mobile not leats the battery never last as long as advertised, about half the time I would say.

Lol - no problem... Don't confuse me that early in the morning... Lol

Battery life is never what is advertised as the tests are carried out in a clinical environment with near perfect conditions. Real world conditions are far from perfect and as a result actual battery life can vary greatly from what is quoted.

Hi @sallyjustice

I appreciate you do not want to mess any settings up and get the best out of your phone. :Smiling:

If you have a local Vodafone Highstreet Store and it's convenient to get to then I'm sure the staff will help you there too.

We as fellow customers will try to help you where we can too.

Google and YouTube are also your friends too.   :Smiling:

Hi. What battery life are you getting? A days use is normal on most phones before a charge is required.

Hi @sallyjustice

If you use Google search I'm sure you'll find some good useful battery saving tips.

However some of of these do turn off / limit the use of certain features.

With batteries they do take a few discharge and recharge cycles to reach optimum and they then do over time decrease in output.

just checking to see any misssed calls or text and not phoning about 4 days, about 1 to 2 using and talking, everywhere I read it says talk 7 hours and 16 days standby. Also standby wi-fi uses battery even though I have it turnedf off, any ideas why?
