Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 Silent Mode switches itself off

Hi Folks, I've had my Vodafone Platinum 7 for a couple of months now and mostly it's ok but whenever I put it on silent mode (vibrate only) it's ok for a while then it turns the volume back up. I can't see a pattern as o when or why it does it but it's super-frustrating! Has anybody else had this problem and do you have any solutions please?
Thanks.

Hi

If this was my phone I'd first try a soft reboot by turning it off and on.

Then if that didn't work a back up and factory reset.

If the settings look to be fine then if a factory reset didn't help then I'd approach a Vodafone store and ask for it to be looked at under its 24 month warranty. They may need to send it off.

If you acquired the phone elsewhere then you'd need to approach the business that supplied it.

Hi,

Thanks yes I've tried restarting it but it's been doing this for a couple of months and that didn't seem to help. Vodafone suggested a software update but it's up to date so sounds like a factory reset which I was trying to avoid! Thanks for the suggestions, much appreciated. It did come from Vodafone so they should be able to replace or fix if the reset doesn;t do the trick!

Cheers.

Ok.

If you do opt to have it sent off then I'd also suggest taking time and date stamped photos of the phone to prove it's condition. Ask the Vodafone rep to note it's condition too.

Don't send any sim cards or sd cards or back cover if removable.
