Vodafone Smart Ultra 7 Stops the Clock (old tariff reference!)

Hi guys, I've had my Smart Ultra 7 for a couple of months now and noticed that it has an innate ability to control time - the clock keeps stopping! The clock in the top right corner will show one time, the larger clock widget I have on my main screen will show another time, and the lockscreen clock widget I have active will (weirdly) show the correct time.

 

Its getting a little annoying as I use my phone as a clock (as do most people) and alarms and reminders etc are being missed as the phone's concept of time stops, until I reset it and it goes back to normal.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? Timezone is set to Network-based and the phone has the most recent version of software on it.

Hi @StoneySte

 

After any software update, it is advisable to do a back up and reset of the phone, this will clear out any remaining bugs from the previous software.  When there are bugs as you describe, a phone reset will very often solve the issue.

 

If you continue to have problems after the reset, take the phone into a Vodafone Store, they will be able to look at the phone and give recommendations.
