Vodafone has left me totally screwed.

I can no longer talk to Vodafone on the phone or in store as I get no help or advice at all. I have a contract which has been going on for 10 months now and has never been used. I got a phone with it and within the 30 day return period I tried to return it and the manager es in Vodafone store Clydebank could not find my account. Leaving me confused? I obviously phoned to find out what’s going on and the woman on the phone says she found my account and that I could return it. Unfortunately due to working away I just went by the 30 days and was 4 days late, I then went back to the store. They says to me I am basically stuck with a 2 year contract because I’m 4 days late on the return period. Obviously I’m annoyed as I was in within my days at first and it was there fault they could not find my account! As I have found out the manager of the store should have been able to do something as he/she can flex round about that !! have been on the phone non stop well over 100 odd times and been getting nowhere with anyone!! I do not want the phone I do not want the contract and I have been stressing as I have been threatened by companies who Vodafone has just passed the debt on no willing to try resolve the matter!!! . I wanted this resolved as I only have little time because Ardent the credit company is on my back pestering me to pay or I get a default in my credit. I got told on the phone and in store to settle it it would be £536.00 I offered to set up a payment plan and they says I cannot do that it has to be full amount or a default in my credit basically! All they keep asking me to do is continue my contract which i do not want to as I have had all this bother and family and friends highly do not recommend Vodafone either. I’ve never been so stressed over a phone in my life and now it has affected me. If someone in Vodafone just had some brains it could not have went like this and the matter could have been resolved. So thanks vodafone, for absolutely nothing. Hopeless company should be shut down if you ask me!!!

If there's any flexibility on this, the forum team will be able to help, so hang on for them to pick up the thread.   However, what can be done after 10 months, I'm not sure.

They says basically I’ve just to deal with the fact it’s ‘my fault’ and should have dealt with it sooner which I had done must have been in store or on the phone about 30 times a week! just nobody gave me the right advice or what I can or can’t do to resolve the matter :Sad_face: never been so stressed in my life!! If someone could help me it would probably be a miracle 🙌🏽
