Hi I brought a Vodafone smart ultra 6 from one of ur Vodafone shops in Portsmouth it was advertised as having android 5.1 but it does not it has 5.0.1 an there are no updates available very upset as feel I was mislead

I seem to recall a similar post in the forum not too long ago. 

I'll have a search for it to see their is any information in it of use.

Not saying anything about firmware when will it be available I'm saying when I brought this phone it was said to be running 5.1 but its not!!

I understand. Just highlighting about how Vodafone go about releasing updates which affects how and when the current OS in the phone may receive the update.

I think some early marketing material for it was incorrect in saying 5.1 instead of 5.0.1, and I know the online shop has been updated to reflect this.

If there are features in 5.1 that you need to have, then you have 14 days to cancel your contract/upgrade if you want to return it.

I'm sure 5.1 will hit it eventually as an upgrade, it's just a case of when.

It's a fantastic spec handset for the money, so hope you get on ok with it, and the upgrade eventually comes along.
