Followed all the forums posts to try and disable this anoying start-up dialog. Seems options to disable has been removed. Even followed Vodafones solution.

Hi @Barton68,

Being a Vodafone device, this feature can't be disabled.

Is this causing problems when using the phone?

every time you boot up the phone, a modal box appears asking to enter your mobile number. I want to choose the Apps and software on my phone.

I had this too. Didn't know what I was doing, entered number then just disabled the app.

Same issue.

Get HoverChat from play store.  Just brilliant.  Briliant.  I never realized there were much better text/sms/mms apps out there.  Your text message hovers over whatever app you are using.  You swipe to not reply.  Or you just instantly reply and send right then and there.  No windows to open, slide through, no apps to start, no names to search or look for.  It just appears.  It hovers over current app.

And you can allow everyone or just a select few to 'interrupt' what you are doing by hovering over your current app on the phone.
